At African Ethos we are best known for our  Marimbas. Supplying schools , bands and private muscians, we make our sets from Padauk wood, a rare west African hard wood. The Padauk sets have a particularly resonant , beautiful sound. Other , more affordable options are available using Kiaat wood notes.The marimbas are accurately tuned (fundamental and overtone tune) to the diatonic scale including f#.  All our marimbas are uniquely designed for disassembly and reassembly for transport purposes.
